The Tattooed Lady

Gemma Parker wanted her tattoo machine to flash and ring a bell when people used it.  Some bespoke power electronics and an Arduino provide the required tech.  I used a CNC to lay out the bulbs, this is one of those projects were as much time gets spent on getting the aesthetics and interaction right as the tech.  I sourced vintage style bulbs and holders and a 'bell hop' desk bell for the right sound.  The lights flash in sequence, speeding up when you dispense a tattoo, they then slow.
